In addition to running off a single 21700 battery, the Nitecore HC35 is also compatible with a single 18650 or two CR123As, 16340s, or RCR123As. This headlamp has a built-in micro-USB charging port, that is water, dust, and impact-resistant, making charging on-the-go a breeze. In terms of actual functionality, the HC35 operates through a single button interface granting access to 5 brightness levels and 3 special modes. The main light has a magnetic tail cap allowing for free-handed lighting on any magnetic surface making the HC35 the headlamp equivalent of a swiss-army knife.
