As the APC, depending on barrel length, does not comply in some countries with the new minimum length requirement of 60 cm, the foldable stock can be easily replace with this fixed stock. Thus the weapon then fulfils the required minimum length. The easy to handle exchange requires only an Allen-wrench and takes less than a minute.
An elevated cheek-rest (BT-36371) can be clamped onto the fixed stock in order to raise the head in a more comfortable position when high mounts are used.
