The Olaes® Modular Bandage with 10cm pad is the latest generation of combat trauma bandages and has a comparative advantage at all levels, which is why it has been chosen by most armies and combat First Aid providers. Application Effectiveness

High stress situations, such as those involving loss of human life on the battlefield, reduce man's manipulative abilities. This makes a simple bandage application complex and time-consuming. The elastic bandage does not wrinkle and always remains flat during application. Bandage control remains stable with its control strips. The package includes everything up to the final dressing of a heavy bleeding wound.

Really local pressure on the wound

The hemispherical plastic cup that is centrally located on the back of the pad really delivers the pressure locally, right on the wound as it is intended. This concentrated pressure helps to effectively hemostasis the severed veins at the point of their cutting. It also reduces the final dressing pressure required, leaving room for manipulations of the wound in order to heal it. Finally, the same plastic removable cup can be used as a prophylactic cap for an injured eye as defined by the new rescue protocols.
